DDQ MON 2020-12-07 @ 12:40 PM

42. Dies Operis (6)

42.1. Agenda

  1. General Announcements

    • Exam 2 was a regular exam, not a final exam. Milestone 4: Prototyping & Testing (term project) is considered a summative evaluation of the entire term’s work or a portion of the term’s work; it will be treated as a “take-home final exam” with respect to course content

    • If you submit an end of course evaluation before 11:59PM on WED Dec 9, then I will I award some kind of extra credit on top of your final numerical course grade (yet to be determined). In addition to your brutally honest opinion of me and the class, please include what you thought was the best part of the class. Thanks!

42.2.1. Work Day

The remainder of the period will be used another project work day. Based on feedback recieved after class and during office hours, the work days seem to help, so let’s try it yet again, given that the deadline is coming up soon. I do want to take the opportunity to ask each of you about your progress since last time.

INFO

Dr. Cotterell will be available directly for project questions until 1:30.

Before 1:30PM, each student needs to individually respond to the following in a followup discussion here.

  1. Meet up with members of your team during the period and discuss your plans moving forward. In your Piazza post, please list the names of the team members who attended your team meeting for part (1).

  2. What parts of the milestone, if any, has your team completed or worked on since your last meeting, and what role did you specifically play in that work?

  3. What do you think is the best course topic that was covered in this class and why?
