30. Ethical and Legal Issues¶

As a group, respond to the following in a followup discussion here.
1. Depending on your Breakout Room number (visible near the top of Zoom when no one is screen sharing), your group will discuss a specific type of issue, listed below:
  - Groups 1, 4, 7: Privacy and Security
  - Groups 2, 5, 8: Reliability
  - Groups 3, 6, 9: Copyright
  In your group discuss what the term(s) assigned to your group mean to you. For example, what does it mean for a user interface to not infringe on privacy or copyright? What does it mean for a user interface to be secure or reliable? Once you have your discussion, define your term(s) and provide a short summary of your discussion. If there was any disagreement, then please be sure to include that.
2. Find an example of a real-world user interface that does a good job with respect to your term(s). Provide a screenshot and explain why. If possible, back your statements with evidence.
3. Find an example of a real-world user interface that does a poor job with respect to your term(s). Provide a screenshot and explain why. If possible, back your statements with evidence.
1. Make sure all group / room members are listed in your followup discussion post.
Pick a group representative. This person will briefly share your group’s findings to the class. No pressure, seriously!
