Important: Prepare for Exam 1 Quiz
The “Prepare for Exam 1 Quiz” assignment is available on the course eLC website under the “Exams” tab. It is not an assignment that is worth any points. Its sole purpose is to provide you with an assignment that you can use to test your computer setup prior to the first exam. Please utilize it.
Important: Exam 1
Exam 1 is online and requires the Respondus LockDown Browser and a webcam. If you are unable or unwilling to install this software on your computer (or you do not have access to a webcam), then you may request to borrow a laptop (with webcam) online from the Miller Learning Center through the MLC Technology Lending Program. When making your request, be sure to let them know that you need it to work with Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor.
Important: Exam 1 Material Coverage Updated
The “Material Covered” section on the Exam 1 page has been updated: anything covered in the readings, DDQs (in class and after class), and assignments through MON 2023-02-06 (Feb. 6th) is fair game for the exam. Anything from the Module 1 and Module 2 readings can appear on the test; however, your instructor will make an effort to only emphasize material that was also covered in class and assignments through (i.e., including) the cutoff date mentioned earlier. The original cutoff date material covered was FRI 2023-02-10 (Feb 10th).

15.2.1. Three Levels of Processing¶
Let’s discuss some of the examples that you all submitted for the last DDQ via Piazza @52.
15.2.2. Work Period¶
The remainder of the period will be used a project work period. Please take this time to meet with your Term Project group, see how everyone is doing, discuss any relevant changes to people’s schedules, and work on finishing Term Project: Milestone 1: Problem Proposal.
Meet with your Term Project group.
Work on your project.
Come up with questions for your instructor.
Ask your instructor questions, if you have any, as he walks from group to group.
Use any remaining time to keep working on your project.
After your meeting, individually report on your progress as described below in the “After Class” section.
15.2.3. After Class¶
Before 11:55PM on FRI 2023-02-10 (Feb. 10th), individually reply to the following in a followup discussion to Piazza @55:
