Submitted my first conference paper for review.

After a semester of research, half a semester of writing, and two weeks of non-stop post-baccalaureate crunch time, my co-authors and I finally finished our conference paper and submitted it for review this past Saturday. I’ll keep everyone posted on whether or not the paper gets accepted. We should hear back from the reviewers sometime in early July. This was my first real research paper in Computer Science (and in any science). So, even if the paper isn’t accepted, at least the process of writing it served as a great learning experience.

Graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science today!

I’m proud to announce that today, after five years of undergraduate coursework, I’ve finally graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Computer Science. I’d like to thank my family and friends for all their help these past couple of years. I don’t know if I could have done it without them. I’d also like to thank my undergraduate advisor, Dr. Miller, for letting me take a Directed Study course (under his direction) where I worked as an undergraduate Research Assistant during my last semester at UGA.

A Holiday Recovery

Looks like I’m finally able to get everything back up and running. Hopefully a site redesign and some content will be up by the first of the year. Everyone wish me luck, and let me wish everyone a happy holiday!
